Astronomy Party Vegas LLC is licensed and insured.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of astronomypartyvegas.com (the “Website”) and any booking or purchase of services from Astronomy Party Vegas LLC (“Astronomy Party Vegas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website or booking an event, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Astronomy Party Vegas provides mobile astronomy experiences, including professional telescope setup, live guided stargazing, event narration, and optional astrophotography, at client-selected outdoor locations. Specific equipment, targets, and deliverables depend on your confirmed proposal, weather, and sky conditions.
Bookings and proposals
Inquiries submitted through the Website or by phone or email do not constitute a confirmed booking until we send a written proposal or agreement and you accept it (including any deposit or payment terms stated therein). We reserve the right to decline any request at our discretion.
Service area and travel
Our primary service area is the Las Vegas Valley. We are willing to travel up to 150 miles outside the Las Vegas Valley for events. Additional travel charges apply for events outside the Las Vegas Valley. Travel fees, if any, will be disclosed in your quote before you confirm.
Licensed and insured
Astronomy Party Vegas LLC operates as a licensed and insured business. Proof of insurance or licensing may be provided upon reasonable request for venues, schools, or corporate clients that require documentation.
Pricing and payment
Prices vary based on event type, duration, location, guest count, equipment needs, and date. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your event date; the remaining balance and payment deadlines will be stated in your confirmed proposal. We accept all major credit cards. Late or missed payments may result in cancellation of services.
Weather and rebooking
Stargazing is weather-dependent. If conditions change and the sky is unsafe or unsuitable for observing, we will postpone your event and you will need to rebook a new date with us. We will work in good faith to find the next available date.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you cancel your booking, your 20% deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be agreed in writing. Other cancellation or rescheduling details may also be specified in your booking confirmation.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide:
- Safe, lawful access to the event location with adequate outdoor space for equipment
- Accurate event details (address, date, time, contact person, and special requirements)
- Reasonable cooperation regarding lighting, pets, noise, and guest behavior near sensitive equipment
- Any venue, HOA, or municipal permissions required for the event
Assumption of risk
Stargazing events take place outdoors at night. You and your guests participate at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries, property damage, or losses caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather, terrain, guest conduct, or third-party actions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astronomy Party Vegas LLC’s total liability for any claim arising from our services or the Website shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Astrophotography and media
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may capture photos or video at events for portfolio, marketing, or educational use. If you or a guest does not wish to appear in promotional media, notify us before or at the event.
Website use
Website content (text, images, branding, and design) is owned by Astronomy Party Vegas LLC or used with permission. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute content for commercial use without our written consent. The Website is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, unless otherwise required by law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Website or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
